Everyone who is familiar with content marketing understands that blogs are a great way to reach your target audience, give them valuable and relatable information, entertain and educate them, but also create a bond with the readers, engage them and possibly turn them into leads.
Our client that wanted to do just that is Zagreb Tourist Board, the capital of Croatia. They were on the lookout for an agency who would investigate topics for them, gather all the information and pictures for blog posts and, eventually write them in a way that would be appealing to readers: frequent travelers, first time visitors, tourists, but even locals who are interested in their city and learning more about it.

Since Croatia is most popular among tourists because of the Adriatic coast, especially during summer months, we had to highlight all the aspects and benefits of Zagreb’s tourist offer and why it’s a good idea to spend time here, what to see and visit, when to visit and find a way to attract people of all demographics because there’s really something for everyone in Croatia’s capital city.
Planning what we’ll write in advance so we could always have time to retrieve all relevant information about the topic
Making lists of most read blog posts to see what people prefer reading and bring them even more relatable content
Using high-quality pictures and photographs to demonstrate visually what we would write about and show people what they can expect in person

The goal of creating the blog site was to reach our potential guests and tell them stories about Zagreb that only locals know and to give them a reason to prolong their visit and explore Zagreb off the beaten track. Kontra helped us by creating loads of interesting content that we also used for our social media profiles thus connecting with our visitors even more.
