Drawbridge: A Website Built to Match the Reputation Behind It

Drawbridge Web Site

In cybersecurity, trust is the product. For Drawbridge, a firm that protects the most sensitive financial data in the alternative investment world, its website was quietly working against it. Competitors had moved. Expectations had shifted. The digital front door no longer matched the caliber of what was behind it. They needed a site that could do what their team does every day: make complexity feel manageable and instill confidence from the first impression.

About Drawbridge

Drawbridge delivers specialized cybersecurity software and advisory services tailored to alternative investment firms, including hedge funds, private equity firms, and wealth managers. Its platform combines advanced technology with expert guidance to help organizations manage cyber risk, maintain regulatory compliance, and safeguard sensitive financial data. Process

The project followed a structured, collaborative approach to ensure alignment across stakeholders and a smooth transition from strategy to execution.

The project began with a collaborative workshop that brought together all key stakeholders involved in decision-making. The focus was on aligning priorities, defining the website’s purpose, and establishing clear goals. This created a shared foundation and ensured that everyone was moving in the same direction from the very start.

Building on this, we held a strategic session to shape the website structure. Together with the client, we mapped out the sitemap and outlined key sections, making it easier to visualize the user journey and define how content should flow across the site.

With a clear structure in place, we developed wireframes for the main pages, using sample content to demonstrate layout and hierarchy. These were presented to stakeholders for validation to ensure that functionality and user experience were aligned before moving forward. Once approved, the client created the final website copy based on the defined structure, allowing the messaging to fit naturally within the framework.

Finally, using the newly developed brandbook as a foundation, we collaborated closely with the brand agency to bring the updated visual identity into the digital space. This step ensured that the website not only functioned effectively but also consistently reflected the brand’s look and feel across all touchpoints.

The final design brought Drawbridge’s expertise and professionalism to life through a clean, modern interface, enriched with subtle animations that enhance the overall user experience without overwhelming it. Every visual and interaction was carefully crafted to provide a clear and engaging preview of how users would navigate and interact with the platform.

From a delivery standpoint, all design assets were prepared with development in mind, ensuring a smooth and efficient handover. Close collaboration with the development team allowed us to support implementation, answer questions, and maintain consistency between design intent and the final product.

Before launch, the website was thoroughly reviewed in its staging environment, allowing the client to explore the full experience and provide final feedback. This step ensured that every detail met expectations and functioned as intended, resulting in a confident and seamless transition to the live version.

The result

Following the website redesign, Drawbridge has seen clear improvements in organic search performance, particularly in non-branded queries (comparing the first three months post-launch in 2026 vs. the same period in 2025):

  • Clicks increased by 200%
  • Impressions grew by 116%
  • Average search position improved by 43%
  • CTR saw a significant uplift (from a previously negligible baseline)

From a performance perspective, the homepage has also improved in several technical areas. We achieved better results in CLS (Cumulative Layout Shift), TBT (Total Blocking Time), number of requests, and overall page weight.

In Google Search Console, desktop performance issues related to CLS have been resolved, with the platform now reporting all metrics in good standing. Mobile data remains limited due to low traffic volumes, both before and after launch, making it difficult to draw definitive conclusions in that segment.
