The challenge
The previous site had a vaguely defined information architecture without differentiating brand and category differences. This made navigating the site and finding the desired products difficult, so our first goal was to solidify and define a clear structure.
We worked closely with the client to develop a new information architecture. The result is a modern and intuitive website with a clearly defined sales process that helps potential customers find the right product as painlessly as possible.
The design consists of bright colors like pink and gold, which further help to make the site visitor feel comfortable and safe.
What did we do?
By developing a digital strategy we created, we fitted our client’s online and offline goals, as well as sales and auxiliary ones. Since Cutie is a hybrid business model (the sales of their own products as well as additional product range), we made sure all the business goals are equaly represented through USP and CTA messages on the webshop.
We’ve done keyword research for all product categories and worked closely with the client to develop a new website structure, i.e., information architecture. Considering the issues with the previously defined structure, it was necessary to display all product categories immediately with as few clicks as possible, and we decided on a mega menu that would also show the five most frequently purchased products of their production.
This process also defined the page grid, and in addition to the mega menu, we created a custom map showing all locations in seven countries where Cutie products can be bought offline.

From a technical POV, a special feature we did for this project was GLS API integration.
